In 2027, Pilote is focusing even more on performance, for travel without limits. Our vehicles and offers have been designed to satisfy motorhome travel enthusiasts at the cutting edge of technology, keen to be able to travel the world in complete independence and freedom. This new collection has been imagined to offer you more driving comfort during your escapades, thanks to new, more powerful equipment. We have also chosen to favour alternative technologies, thus offering you reduced gas consumption on board. All this to gain in comfort and efficiency.
More powerful equipment
Leisure battery, inverter, solar panels… all essential equipment for your motorhome journeys. They are essential because they allow you to have a source of electricity available inside your vehicle when you are at a stopover. To maximise both your autonomy and your comfort, choose the equipment best suited to your needs.
Lithium batteries
The leisure battery (or auxiliary battery) is the energy source that allows you to power all your electrical appliances inside your vehicle when stationary: lighting, heating, refrigerator, television, etc. It is designed to deliver a continuous 12V voltage. This year, all our motorhomes can be equipped with a lithium battery.
Faster to recharge, it has a better lifespan than AGM batteries. Depending on your needs, you can choose (as an option) the capacity of your battery, from 105 or up to 300 Ah depending on the model.
A 2,000 W inverter
An energy inverter allows the continuous voltage supplied by the leisure battery (12 V) to be converted into an alternating voltage (230 V) that can be used by many electrical appliances inside the vehicle. Enjoy (as an option) a 2,000 W inverter and use all your electrical appliances, just like at home (hair dryer, coffee machine, computer charger, etc.).
High-performance solar panels
To recharge your battery efficiently, practically and ecologically, you can choose as an option to integrate one or more solar panels into your vehicle. They are particularly effective in summer, and in the middle of the day (when sunshine is at its maximum). From 100 to 210 W depending on the model, they are equipped with high-performance technology, which considerably improves their efficiency.
Reduced gas consumption
Travelling by motorhome often means a heavy dependence on gas for heating or the refrigerator. Beyond the cost, handling heavy bottles and looking for compatible models abroad quickly becomes restrictive. That is why our new collection limits its use as much as possible by replacing these areas with much more efficient electrical and hybrid equipment. From now on, gas is only used for the hobs: a single small bottle will be more than enough.
Diesel / 230 V hybrid heating
Opt for the diesel / 230 V hybrid heating system (Combi D 6E Truma® or Alde D®, depending on the model). This high-performance system reduces your gas consumption for heating to zero, making you autonomous wherever you are. It adapts precisely to the weather, allowing you to switch between diesel mode for cool days and mixed diesel/electric mode for extreme cold. Furthermore, its maximum power of 6,000 W guarantees a much stronger and faster temperature rise than a classic 4,000 W heater.
A compression refrigerator
Present in all our vehicles, the compression refrigerator runs entirely on electricity, offering an ideal alternative to gas-dependent absorption models. This technology brings four major advantages for your comfort: it completely eliminates gas consumption for refrigeration, produces cold faster and more sustainably even in high outside temperatures, and remains fully operational even when the vehicle is tilted. Furthermore, the absence of an external ventilation grille required for its operation considerably improves the overall thermal insulation of your motorhome.
