Vehicles combining innovation and increasing performance
In 2026, Pilote is focusing on performance, allowing you to travel without limits. Our vehicles and offers have been designed to satisfy camping car enthusiasts who seek cutting-edge technology and want to explore the world with complete independence and freedom. This new collection has been conceived to provide you with more on-road comfort during your getaways, thanks to more powerful new equipment. We’ve also chosen to minimize gas-powered equipment as much as possible to reduce your consumption. All of this is aimed at increasing your comfort and efficiency.
1. More powerful equipment
Your leisure battery, inverter, solar panels… these are all essential pieces of equipment for your RV trips. They’re crucial because they provide you with an electricity source inside your vehicle when you’re stopped. To maximize both your autonomy and comfort, choose the equipment best suited to your needs.

A lithium leisure battery, for better performance
The vehicle battery (or auxiliary battery) is the power source that supplies electricity to all your devices inside your vehicle when stationary: lighting, heating, refrigerator, television, etc. It is designed to deliver a continuous 12 V voltage.
This year, all our motorhomes can be equipped with a lithium leisure battery. It’s smaller, lighter, faster to recharge, and has a longer lifespan than AGM batteries.
Depending on your needs, you can choose your battery’s capacity (optional*): 105 or 200 Ah on low-profiles, 200 or 300 Ah on A-class models.
*Evidence low-profile models come with a 200 Ah lithium battery as standard.
A more powerful inverter
A power inverter converts the direct current (12 V) supplied by the vehicle battery into alternating current (230 V), which can be used to power many of the same electrical appliances you use at home.
This year, we’ve once again boosted the power of our inverters. Depending on your needs and your battery, you can choose a 1,500 W or 2,000 W inverter*. This means you can use more power-hungry appliances, or more appliances at the same time.
*1,500 W or 2,000 W on Expression low-profiles, 2,000 W on A-classes and Evidence low-profile models (always as an option, except for G781FC and G781FGJ Evidence for which it is standard).

100 W TOPCon solar panels for faster charging
To efficiently, conveniently, and ecologically recharge your battery, you can optionally integrate one or more solar panels into your vehicle. They are particularly effective in the summer and around midday (when sunlight is at its maximum).
The solar panels we offer at Pilote have a power of 100 W, and this year, they feature high-performance TOPCon technology, which significantly improves their efficiency.
2. Reduced gas consumption
Every leisure vehicle trip often leads to significant gas consumption. Many onboard amenities that ensure a certain level of comfort, like the refrigerator, heating, and cooking hobs, rely on it. Beyond the cost, loading and unloading gas bottles (which are often heavy and bulky) can become a real chore. Furthermore, if you travel abroad, finding compatible gas bottles can be challenging. That’s why, for this new 2026 collection, we’ve chosen to minimize gas usage by replacing heating and refrigeration equipment with new models that are also, by the same token, even more efficient! Gas will therefore only be necessary for your cooking hobs; a simple, small gas bottle will be more than enough.
A hybrid heating system
This year, we’ve opted for the Truma® Combi D 6E heating system. Unlike other heaters from the same brand, this one doesn’t require gas as it’s a hybrid system that runs on electricity and diesel. This heating system offers three benefits that will enhance your on-board comfort:
- It reduces gas consumption to zero.
- It can be used in multiple modes, depending on the season: diesel mode for cold days, or diesel/electric mix for very cold days.
- It heats at a maximum power of 6,000 W, meaning it heats up faster and stronger than a conventional 4,000 W heater.
This heater is included as standard on all A-class models and is optional on low-profile models*.
*But standard on Évidence low-profile models.

An electric compression refrigerator
A Thetford® compressor refrigerator will also be offered in all our vehicles.
Unlike absorption refrigerators, which run on gas, compressor refrigerators are electrically powered. They offer four main advantages for even greater comfort:
- They eliminate all gas consumption for refrigerating your food.
- They cool down faster and maintain the temperature longer, even when outside temperatures are high.
- They function even when the vehicle is inclined.
- They improve your vehicle’s insulation as they no longer require an external ventilation grille.
This comression refrigerator is included as standard on all A-class models and is optional on low-profile models.*
*But standard on Évidence low-profile models.
2026 Collection: The Ultimate in Performance
To summarize, for this new collection, we’ve chosen to offer you more powerful vehicles to enhance your user comfort.
This is thanks to more powerful equipment, including:
- A lithium leisure battery, with customizable power based on your needs.
- A larger inverter so you can use more powerful electrical appliances, or more devices simultaneously.
We’ve also included equipment that consumes less gas, specifically:
- A hybrid heating system that runs on diesel and electricity.
- An electric compressor refrigerator.
All of this is designed to make your vehicle more efficient and allow you to travel with even greater comfort.
