This diminutive French high-top wowed our judges with its impressive combination of style, specification and practicality

The superbly named Foxy Van V540G has a fairy typical layout for a Continentally produced version of the genre, with a transverse rear bed, offside kitchen and nearside half-dinette. Where it scores well is in the quality of the conversion, a good specification and a quality finish.
Thoughtful touches abound, from a false floor at the rear that allows the storage of fiat items such as folding chairs, to a smart-looking walk­through washroom with tip-up sink. We particularly liked the sliding wardrobe that can be moved from its stowed position on the nearside into the gangway for loading and unloading your touring finery; the shelf in the middle can be taken out for extra hanging space, as can a section in the base.
